Look Stop Swap

Saturday, 9 February 2013 to Sunday, 24 February 2013
Cost:
free Entry

Presented by the City of Melbourne and curated by Three Thousand as part of the Sustainable Living Festival, Look.Stop.Swap will see selected retailers and cafes sharing their ideas on how to live and work more sustainably in the city, many of them joining forces with local sustainable businesses and social enterprises.

Sharing may take the form of a tangible exchange, an in-store event or workshop, or a specific product promotion.

Bring in a piece of fruit or an egg and Alice Nivens Cafe will swap it for a freshly baked treat made from the previous day’s donations. Drop into the Incu Mens store in QV and observe Pop Plant’s 24-plant ‘Grow Your Own Fresh Air’ installation. Want to know how to make glasses from old beer bottles? Head to The Boatbuilder’s Yard and take a workshop, presented by Mountain Goat Brewery.

For the full program of events, pick up a Look.Stop.Swap map from the Sustainable Living Festival Hub at 225 Bourke Street Melbourne.
